I've had the Jeep torn down for the past week or so, doing necessary upgrades. see the above post. So today, I had an injector delivered 2nd day, so I could get everything fixered up. But, I've been driving the Z on 5 cylinders to and from work, as the Jeep is still on jack stands.
As I get within 5 miles of my house, the Z begins running worse then ever. like it's on FOUR cyclinders. Joy. I get home and swap out the known bad injector (Cylinder 4, 30 minute job tops). I start her up, and sure enough... i've had another goddamn injector go out in a matter of 4 days. Christ. This time, it's number 5... I spose i'll have to pull the plenum. In lieu of the new developments, I skip rebuilding my Jeeps harness (to stealth it completely out of the engine bay), and I tape it all up. I reassemble the engine and head out for ice cream (really). Anyway... eh... Jeeps running pretty much fine. I'll need more seat time to know for sure. Anyway, Karma is a bitch. A few select folks think I am getting what I deserve. I'm still a big fan of coincidence.
Kinda like that time my girlfriend broke up with me when she found out I was seeing someone else. It was coincidental. /rant_off. Coz, I dunno if i'm gonna belly up for another injector right now. I may part out the car and push the rest into the woods.
